The origin
OnlyCans was founded in 2024 by a collective of aluminum-industry veterans and former content-platform engineers who noticed a simple truth: the most beautiful objects in any convenience store cooler were being ignored.
“Cans have stories,” said co-founder M. Lacroix (no relation). “Every dent is a memory. Every condensation bead is a tear. We built OnlyCans because those stories deserved a home.”
The platform launched with 12 creators — mostly friends from the bottling plant — and has since grown to over 423 active cans across soda, seltzer, energy, beer, and iced-tea verticals.
What we believe
- Cans deserve a platform. Not a shelf. Not a recycling bin. A platform.
- Premium content is real content. Whether the creator is a person or an aluminum cylinder, the subscription model works the same way.
- Transparency matters. OnlyCans takes 20% of every subscription and tip. The remaining 80% goes to the can (or, more accurately, to a fictional escrow account labeled “aluminum futures”).
- Safety first. Every creator passes through the Aluminum Verification Pipeline. No counterfeits, no steel, no plastic imposters.

OnlyCans is a satirical project. It is not a real business. There is no M. Lacroix. Please do not subscribe. But if you do, the experience is: a website that looks real until you notice every creator is a beverage can.
